Market Report: Good news for buyers AND sellers…Life’s a beach!

In this month’s market update, we cover June sales data in your city. 

California vacation homes

It was about this time last year that we started seeing buyers battling for new homes. Though the number of offers has dropped a bit the last few months (that's good news for buyers! Time to get back out there while everyone else is snoozing on the beach); the sales prices have certainly not.

Around Abio we've heard of houses selling for nearly a million dollars over the list price! As well as homes that have sold for double the list price! (obviously good news for sellers! It may be your time to seas the day!)

In fact a few cities have more than doubled their percent of increase in 2 years! Oakland for example was up 12% last year over June 2019 and this year is up another 17% over last year. A 29% increase in 2 years! Orinda is the city with the biggest increase in 2 years at 46% combined. Shell yeah!

But enough of all that, let's get right to the numbers... Sea you at the beach!
