Location Details

Wildcat Canyon Road is located in Berkeley, along the very edge of Tilden Park, (known as the jewel of the East Bay Regional Parks) with its many hiking trails, picnic and activity areas.  The Little Farm and Carousel are close by, right off Wildcat at Grizzly, and Lake Anza is a short hike from 734 for summertime swimming.  The Steam Train, the Botanic Garden, and the Environmental Eduction Center are all nearby.  Wildcat Canyon Road is one of the the most popular bicycling corridors through Tilden, and outward to Briones and Orinda and Moraga.  UC Berkeley campus and Lawrence Berkeley Labs are a very short commute by bike, bus, or car, and nearby Lawrence Hall of Science with it’s magnificent lookout point to the bay make this a wonderful place to live.  Coffee, Shopping, and restaurants are a short 15 minutes away to either campus or to Gourmet Ghetto, Berkeley’s many farmers markets, Monterey Market, Solano Ave, and so much more. Orinda is further but easily accessed just down Wildcat Canyon to the San Pablo Dam Road.

The first time you visit 734 Wildcat Canyon, access may seem a little confusing, but it is really quite easy.  GPS will tell you when you reach 734, but there is no driveway on Wildcat Canyon itself.  You access the home via Woodhaven Rd.  There is a sign on Wildcat that directs you up what looks like a driveway to several homes.  The street very quickly angles around to the right to run parallel to Wildcat Canyon and 734 is just a few doors down.
