East Bay Realtor

Bouchra Chandran

Bouchra Chandran  Bouchra, who lives in San Ramon, brings her masterful negotiation skills as well as two decades of finance experience. “Whether I am working with a buyer or seller, I provide comprehensive and personalized service to guide each client through every transaction from contract to close,” Bouchra says.

Why Abio? “I love the unity and camaraderie between agents and their vision of the future of real estate.”

When she’s not brokering deals, you might find this agent on the ice. Ask Bouchra about the Vacaville Adult Synchro team!

East Bay Realtor

Juliane Hummer

Juliane Hummer  Juliane joined us on the real estate side after working in mortgage lending for RPM Mortgage and Prospect Mortgage. She taps her exceptional organizational skills – gleaned from years as a lender, event planner, marketing coordinator, and executive assistant – to close today’s complex real estate transactions.

Why Abio? “Abio is a forward-thinking real estate firm with cutting-edge technology, an outstanding marketing team and support staff, and the most inviting family-oriented management.”

Juliane volunteers for several nonprofits around the Bay Area, including STAND! For Families Free of Violence and The Taylor Family Foundation.

East Bay realtor

Brian McCarthy

Brian McCarthy  Real estate literally might be in Brian’s blood: He comes from a family of real estate investors and has been a licensed Realtor since 2004. He previously worked in the ultra competitive Boston market specializing in urban living before coming to the Bay Area.

His “born into it” industry experience has equipped Brian with the right mix of professional mettle and calm mediating skills to close even the most trying deals.

Why Abio? “I looked for a brokerage that was on the cutting edge with marketing and technology so that I can share those premier services with my clients,” Brian says. “I also chose an office that is open and collaborative. How can you continue to learn if you aren’t around people willing to share their experience?!”

Ask Brian about one of his most interesting finds in a client’s newly purchased home… (Would you drink a can of 70-year-old beer?)

East Bay Realtor

Maria Perez

Maria Perez  Ever since Maria persisted and succeeded with her own first home-buying experience in the Bay Area, she made it her mission to help others achieve their homeownership dreams. Maria, who is an Army veteran, also brings a business and marketing background.

Maria was born in the Philippines and immigrated with her family to the U.S. at age 10, settling in Livermore. Now she considers herself a Bay Area native.

“I’m proud to have lived in Oakland for more than a decade – it’s an epicenter of culture, diversity, & community, which fuels my soul,” Maria says. When she’s not working, you might find her scaling walls at a Spartan Race or kite surfing in the Emeryville Marina.

East Bay Realtor

Katie Pratt

Katie Pratt  Katie caught the real estate bug after she and her partner purchased their first home in Oakland in 2015. As a rehabber, she uses her expert knowledge to advise sellers and buyers about which improvements and marketing tools will dramatically increase a home’s sales appeal and value.

Katie grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, and moved to Oakland in 2010 through Teach for America, an AmeriCorps program. She taught chemistry at Skyline High School and worked for college access programs throughout the Bay Area before becoming a Realtor.

“I joined Abio because of the collaborative environment intentionally created by the brokers and other agents," Katie says. "I wanted to feel supported and like I was part of a team.”

East Bay Realtor

Keith Sjöholm

Keith Sjöholm  Keith, a broker associate and Realtor, has been expertly moving residential and income property in the Bay Area since 2001. Before then, Keith worked in financial services (broker-dealer sales) with John Hancock Financial, and worked in marketing with Bloomberg in San Francisco. He earned his law degree from Suffolk University in Boston.

Why did he join Abio? “For the great people plus the great energy!” When Keith isn’t working with clients, you might find him racing sailboats on the Bay. And ask him about his grape harvesting experience...

East Bay Realtor

Andrea Schlosser

Andrea Schlosser  As a 25-year Bay Area resident, Andrea has invaluable insight into the East Bay’s unique neighborhoods

Andrea became a licensed Realtor in 2013 after running her own day spa business for two decades. Why the career change? She says real estate combines her interests and strengths, including strategy, ability to juggle several projects at once, negotiation, and forging relationships.

“I chose Abio because of a record-breaking three-hour interview where (co-founders) Linnette and Cameron impressed me with their openness, knowledge, and down-to-earth qualities,” she says. “I had been following Abio on social media because I thought of them as unique and creative in our industry. I'm not very impressed with cookie-cutter firms, and Abio is the opposite of that.”

East Bay Realtor

Jeanine Weller

Jeanine Weller  Jeanine has 20+ years of experience helping clients buy and sell homes in the Sacramento and East Bay markets. Being a real estate agent combines Jeanine’s passion for architecture (she has a Masters of Architecture degree from U.C. Berkeley) with her training in marketing. She previously owned a boutique textile design firm and served as marketing director for one of San Francisco's largest architectural design firms.

Jeanine joined Abio, she says, because “after meeting and speaking with several Abio agents it seemed like there would be an extraordinary camaraderie rather than the secretive, competitive environment I have found at other brokerages. Combined with a really strong marketing and business team backing everyone up, it felt like the perfect place for me.”

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll find her in her art studio – with her cat, Purrcy, who has a penchant for napping on wet canvases!

John Fazel  We’d also like to introduce John Fazel, a highly skilled and respected East Bay Realtor since 1980. John joins the Abio team as a referral agent. He is a local fixture also known for starting Orinda’s annual Three-Quarter Century Lunch for residents who have achieved their three-quarter century.
