Q&A

  • Would someone describe you as an early bird or a night owl?
  • I can be both an early bird and a night owl. Sometimes it beats a sunrise to start the day but if I got stuff to do I like to stay up late as well.
  • Favorite restaurant or hang out?
  • For a hang out or meetup spot my favorite place is a park called the ‘Albany Bulb.’ Once a landfill of freeway concrete over the years it has transformed into something pretty special. Lots of art makes it an open air museum. Biking and hiking trails have been built and great views of the bay make this park a hidden gem. The little beach there is also fantastic for kids and dogs. For restaurants it has to be Ramen Shop in Oakland or Marley G’s in Alameda. The best comfort food for me is Noodles, Pizza or a Sando!
  • Famous person (living or dead) you’d most like to meet?
  • Frida Kahlo
  • What’s your mantra?
  • Let it Go
  • What’s your most treasured possession (besides your phone!)?
  • My Wheelbarrow- it never breaks down
  • What would you tell your 16-year old self?
  • Be kind and go for it!
  • Funniest/most interesting thing you’ve ever found in a house you’ve helped someone buy or sell?
  • A zip-line! It was pretty cool little setup in between some palm trees – built by the owner it was sturdy enough for kids and adults

REALTOR®

Tobias has been in real estate for two years and is proud to be selling homes in the East Bay where he grew up.

As a Berkeley native and long-time Oakland resident, he has a robust understanding of the various nuances of the East Bay neighborhoods and thrives on sharing East Bay history with all his clients, family, and friends. When not selling or buying homes, Tobias is busy taking care of his five-year old daughter, baby-on-the-way, and 2 alpacas.

From studying History, to teaching/coaching at the collegiate level and growing into a sales professional have learned partnerships are the key to success.  I promise to always bring value, honesty and humor to my clients and work towards their goals one day at a time.

Through the trust of my clients I led my previous brokerage in sales in my first year and I am now excited to continue to grow at Abio.
