I have been a Californian since I moved to the Bay Area from Seoul when I was 7 years old. I spent most of my childhood in the South Bay and my adulthood in San Francisco, where I met my husband – a rare third generation San Franciscan! I also spent some time in SoCal for work and to obtain my MBA, but I realized I’m a NorCal person at heart.
Soon after our first son was born, my husband and I joined the mass exodus and decided to leave the city for a community with great schools, warmer weather and a short commute back to San Francisco. We found that in Orinda in 2008. Since then, we’ve been active in the schools and sports programs, volunteering and becoming an active member of the Lamorinda community.

Would someone describe you as an early bird or a night owl?
Definitely a night owl. That’s my most productive time.
Favorite restaurant or hang out?
Our back yard. We love to eat, drink and entertain! Can’t get better than that!

An old black and white wedding photo of my parents. They didn’t have much back then but they looked so happy and in love!

Don’t think you have it all figured out! Life is a journey full of surprises!
