Elizabeth Thiel

DRE: 02085002

Hi, I’m Elizabeth Thiel, though most call me Liz — a local realtor, community connector, and proud East Bay native. I was raised in Lafayette and now live in Martinez with my husband, our two boys, and our lovable rescue pups, Riley and Cooper. I grew up surrounded by real estate (my mom’s an appraiser!) and have had the honor of guiding buyers and sellers over the years with the same grounded insight and care that shaped me early on.

Clients know me for my calm, honest, and detail-oriented approach – I thrive on spreadsheets, checklists, and advocating fiercely for the people I work with. I’ve dedicated myself to building a reputation as a trusted and dependable real estate professional among both clients and peers. Whether you’re prepping a home for the market or buying your very first place, I’ll be right there with you, making sure no detail gets missed.

Outside of real estate, you’ll find me biking around town with my family, checking out local breweries, or chasing our kids (and dogs) around the neighborhood. This community means so much to me — and I’d be honored to help you find your place in it

Elizabeth's Q+A

Would someone describe you as an early bird or a night owl?

Kids have made me a night owl. You can find me bingeing a show or escaping in a good read.

Favorite restaurant or hang out?

BBQ-ing at our home with friends, beers on tap and kids running in the yard is my favorite. We also enjoy a walk to the downtown Martinez farmer’s market, grab an empanada at Cocina Milonga and then stopping at Five Suns or Del Cielo for a beer or a delicious coffee at Barrelista or States.

Famous person (living or dead) you’d most like to meet?

Taylor Swift. What can I say – I’m a swiftie.

What’s your mantra?

Manifest what you want to do and do it!

What’s your most treasured possession (besides your phone!)?

My late father’s jazz music, particularly his CDs, published books and sheet music. He was a professional musician, recording engineer, and educator. He lives on through his music and I hope everyone gets the chance to listen one day. www.brucemishkit.com

What would you tell your 16-year old self?

My dad would always tell me “today is the first day of the rest of your life so make it great”. I interpret that as we always have the chance to improve our past and that chance is today. So I would tell my 16-year old self to stop worrying about the future and you will have many opportunities to accomplish what you want to do in life.
