Meet Levy! This adorable 2-year-old, 15lbs terrier mix is all legs, no neck, and wins the award for the best smile. When Levy meets new people, he grins from ear to ear, and does the most excited wiggles. He loves all people and most dogs (slow introductions are the key with him) and is so excited to make new friends. If you sit down he will gladly hop into your lap for some snuggles. He is full of life and personality. Our friends at Rocket Dog Rescue, who are caring for Levy, say he’s still learning about being on a leash, but patience is a virtue, especially when adopting a dog. He has met quite a few children and done great with all of them, even very young toddlers. With that said, being picked up isn’t his cup of tea, so we’re asking for dog-savvy children 12 and up in the household. Learn how to adopt Levy here:

Meet Rapidash! Dash is an approximately one-year-old German Shepherd who weighs 75 pounds.  Despite being a puppy, Dash is very easy going.  He loves car rides and adventures, hiking and playing with his friends. Our friends at Rocket Dog Rescue, who are caring for Dash, say he is so well behaved and is great on leash.

Meet Buddy!  He’s an eight year old, well mannered, mixed breed with lots of life, energy and love to give.  He’s happiest around people and loves attention. Buddy loves a good long walk around the neighborhood or a visit to the park. Our friends at the sanctuary say he is very well behaved and knows all the basic commands, as well as having great leash manners. That’s why he’s a volunteer staff favorite!

Meet Manny! This sweet 2-year-old is full of love! He’s the perfect combo of spunky and sweet, according to our friends at Animal Rescue Foundation, who are caring for Manny. He loves to snuggle (a sturdy snuggler at 69 lbs 😜) or be with you in the great outdoors. Learn how to adopt Manny here:

Meet Sydney! Our friends at Rocket Dog Rescue, who are caring for Sydney, say she is the sweetest, calmest husky you’ll ever meet. She is still a husky, though, and needs an active home to keep her engaged and happy. This 3-year-old loves walks, hikes, runs, naps, cuddles, and treats. She buddies well with medium-sized energetic dogs but not small pooches or cats.

Meet Lincoln! Six-year-old Lincoln is a handsome and refined gentleman who enjoys taking walks, socializing with other chill dogs, and fitting in a good nap. Our friends at ARF, who are caring for Lincoln, say this distinguished pup is a very special dog who will need some TLC due to chronic kidney disease. Do you have room in your heart and home?

Meet: Pinky! She’s an 18-month-old Shepherd mix (~65 pounds) who is energetic, loving, and super smart.  She is an extremely affectionate, playful pup who just loves being around people. Pinkie loves her walks and does well on leash but will benefit from continued leash training.

Pinky is dog-friendly and does well with like-minded pups (read: energetic and playful). She enjoys playing with her toys, especially her squeaky ones! She is outgoing and people-oriented, so is looking for a household where she is a big part of the family. She will thrive in a home that would be able to provide her with daily exercise, such as hikes and long walks. Active people are encouraged to apply. Pinky is also happy sitting quietly by, watching the world go by, after some good fun is had.
