Q&A

  • Would someone describe you as an early bird or a night owl?
  • Typically an early bird – on school/ work days I like getting up before the rest of the family to get a jump on the day while the house is quiet, but love the luxury of staying up late and sleeping in on vacation.
  • Favorite restaurant or hang out?
  • We love Wood Tavern – it’s our special occasion family go-to. For more casual/ everyday spot, we head to Rick and Ann’s
  • Famous person (living or dead) you’d most like to meet?
  • Ina Garten. I would love to cook, drink a cocktail and throw a party with Ina 🙂
  • What’s your mantra?
  • Thank you.
  • What’s your most treasured possession (besides your phone!)?
  • My un-dyed cashmere sweater – it’s exactly like wearing a hug
  • What would you tell your 16-year old self?
  • Calm down.  It’s the same advice I give to my present day self 🙂
  • Funniest/most interesting thing you’ve ever found in a house you’ve helped someone buy or sell?
  • This happens to be my own house.  Supposedly, the original owner from 1941 didn’t believe in paying for such luxuries as a garbage service, so she started her very own landfill in the back garden.  Not only does everything we plant back there grow beautifully, we find all sorts of buried treasure.

Like many people, I have always wanted to be in Real Estate.

For as long as I can remember, it’s always been the tiny voice nagging at me in the back of my mind, but somehow life kept getting in the way.  I’ve actually been so lucky to have a wonderful career in the fashion industry – first on the wholesale side as a regional sales manager for Hanro of Switzerland and then on the retail end, as a store manager for Eileen Fisher.  My resume basically resembles the Garnet Hill catalogue (they were actually a customer of mine, lol).  Luckily, I have a supportive husband and daughter, family and friends, who all encouraged me to take the leap and here I am!

I grew up here in the East Bay and my husband and I bought our first house in the Montclair neighborhood of Oakland way back in 1999.  We love it here and wouldn’t want to live anyplace else (except for maybe the South of France).

When not working with my fabulous new team mates, Krista + Rosie, you might find me walking my two unruly, but always friendly, and rather large dogs at Redwood Park, Point Isabel or Muir Beach you name it – if it’s off-leash, we’re there! And in summer, I spend a lot of time at Orinda Park Pool rooting for the unstoppable Stingrays… Life is so good in the East Bay and having spent the first half of my life on the “other side of the tunnel” and my second in Oakland, I have discovered all that BOTH sides have to offer.  I look forward to sharing it with you!
