Q&A

  • Would someone describe you as an early bird or a night owl?
  • I love sleep and think it’s severely underrated! I would sleep 12 hours every night if I could, but I have 3 small children so maybe in 20 years!
  • Favorite restaurant or hang out?
  • A small bar or coffee shop with really good live acoustic music.
  • Famous person (living or dead) you’d most like to meet?
  • There aren’t that many famous people I’d like to meet, but I’d have to say Sara Bareilles. Yes, definitely Sara. Sara on the Ellen DeGeneres show with Oprah, Robin Williams and Prince. No one else though. Well, Lucille Ball, but I feel that goes without saying.
  • What’s your mantra?
  • There’s no such thing as regret, only opportunities to learn. Be grateful for everything, even the “hard” times.
  • What’s your most treasured possession (besides your phone!)?
  • The quilt my mom and I designed before she passed away. She loved to shop and we used her clothing to fashion a quilt for my dad. The woman who made it had enough material to make two so she made me one as well.
  • What would you tell your 16-year old self?
  • Things are not going to turn out like you are planning. Surrender. Let God take the wheel, enjoy the ride and it will turn out beyond your wildest dreams.

I grew up in a very small town in Southern Indiana. I had a wonderful childhood and enjoyed growing up in a place where everyone knew everyone (most of the time). However, for as long as I can remember my soul longed for something bigger, and my body for better weather! My wife and I met in Indiana and moved to California to be closer to her family in 2012.

I’ve been an “artist” since I could hold a crayon and have stayed on that track ever since, aside from my first two years of college when I wanted to be the next Clarice Starling. I started as a graphic designer right after college and eventually started my own freelance business working with 50+ industries. That flexibility also enabled me to be the assistant tennis coach at my alma mater. My professional motto is “making you look as good as you are.” I appreciate the opportunity to help people succeed and I absolutely love what I do!

When I’m not marketing beautiful properties I enjoy hiking, dining and adventuring with my extraordinary family of 5! Not a day goes by that I am not grateful to God for the beauty that surrounds me and all the gifts that this life has given me.
