Q&A
- Would someone describe you as an early bird or a night owl?
- I pretty much hit the ground running first thing in the morning.
- Favorite restaurant or hang out?
- There are so many, but my current love is Juhu Beach Club in the Temescal. Their Manchurian cauliflower is amazing!
- Famous person (living or dead) you’d most like to meet?
- Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter. I find their humanity work and compassion to be very moving.
- What’s your mantra?
- Be kind to yourself and other.
- What’s your most treasured possession (besides your phone!)?
- My bicycle.
- What would you tell your 16-year old self?
- Don’t worry so much!
- Funniest/most interesting thing you’ve ever found in a house you’ve helped someone buy or sell?
- My client and I found a totally disgusting working toilet in the world’s smallest bedroom closet. Fairly certain that a permit was not pulled for it!

Realtor
Most people would describe me as enthusiastic, which is exactly how I feel about real estate. I love, love, love my career, talking about real estate and best of all helping clients either sell and/or find the right home.
I am a Bay Area native. I grew up on the Peninsula and lived five years in San Francisco before moving to Berkeley in 2002. I love the culture and diversity that the East Bay brings, but who wouldn’t love our fantastic restaurants, outdoor recreational spaces and fantastic weather!
Before my career in real estate, I worked for 10 years as a paralegal in a construction litigation law firm in San Francisco. I have also owned my own business and managed family-owned property remodels and sales. I’ve learned through my past work experience to address any issue as it comes up, and to take corrective action as soon as possible. I will always tell my clients the hard news, even if they do not want to hear it! I strive to be as upfront and available as needed during the escrow process.
I know personally what it is like to wait by the phone to hear if your offer has been accepted and I do not lose sight that it is the client who is either buying or selling, not me. I work hard to alleviate stress whenever possible for clients and try making each step of the process as clear and stress-free as possible.
On my off time, I enjoy spending time with my family, knitting, bicycling, and hiking and enjoy volunteering to support my son’s school.
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, and was awarded a Fulbright Hayes for intensive Swahili study in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
I am a Member of the National, California and Berkeley Association of Realtors.
